Welcome to Log4Net Dashboard

Log4Net Dashboard is a log Viewer that can read logging events from several logging storage, including:

• SQL Server
• XML Files
• Windows Event Log

It features:

• Easy and powerful access to Logs.
• Web application for centralized configuration an easy access by multiple users.
• Suitable both during development and production.
• Highly configurable.
• Expandable.

The main page in L4NDash is the dashboard page, which gives the user instant information on the logging status, on a top level, through a log summary table. From the summary table the user can drill down to view collections of log rows and to view all details about a single log row. The content of the summary table can be configured in the config file.

L4NDash also offers a page to view the news log rows. Both in the Dashboard page and the New log events page, the user can fine grain the view through defining filters.

For power users, we recommend to bookmark the dashboard page, and use it as the starting point.

The user interface is defined through extensive use of CSS style sheets. This gives the user the possibility to adjust the look and feel in accordance with personal preferences. In the settings page the user can choose between a set of predefined style sheets. It is also possible to define new style sheets.

One installation of L4NDash can be configured to used against several data sources.
